Go Paperless: Implement A Document Management System

February 10, 2018 / GuidesFor Team

UCAN, a non-profit organization, supported another non-profit, the Paperless Project, by following its advocacy. By using a document management system, it is now able to save $100,000 on office supplies and improve its workflow.

It is now able to use that extra time and money to further its philanthropic work. It supports young teens and families with social problems and serves over 12,000 people annually. It is now helping the environment by conserving trees.

UCAN is not the only organization to benefit from a paperless document management system. Yale University, one of the oldest and most traditional educational systems in the world, has gone paperless. It claims that each college department saves an average of $80,000 a year by going paperless.
